The iPhone as everybody knows, is the portable mobile phone created by Apple. Probably one of the greatest inventions in the wireless phone field, almost comparable to the excitement we felt when using the very first mobile phones created in 1990. We have finally made a huge ”step” from the  technological  antiquity of the 1970’s  to the future.

With it, we not only have a mobile phone in our pockets but the whole world! Although our group is not tied to the IPhone brand, we  still cannot avoid recognizing such a phenomenon  and foresee its future prospects. We thought about concentrating our own experience for the creation of products dedicated to it.

An iPhone is a condensation of technology that even our grandmothers are able to  use. For once the technicians have kept in mind that  nobody wants to go crazy after a hundred buttons and commands which usually get smaller and smaller and more and more complicated with modern technology. For example, adults cannot see very well from up close and since the programmers are young, they rarely think of this. Yet this time they have: with  a very straightforward, sensible screen of 3,5” we will be able  to enter the world of communication and information just with one simple touch! You will not need to read over and over any handbook, as everything is intuitive: touch screen icons will activate the links with the most elementary logic in the world. The precious device will think of the rest. An expensive device, yes, but for valid reasons: first of all it is built with quality components, to make sure it won’t jam and it will last very long  (just be careful of not letting it fall on the ground!); secondly, it is a computer and compared to all of the other mobile phones, after its physiological lifetime (6 to 12 months) you will not have to buy the new model: you will just have to  update it by downloading the new version from the iTUNES website, all of it free of charge. Italy is the third country in the world (after USA and UK) for the number of iPhones sold….And…China will be following very soon!

WHAT YOU CAN DO – With an iPhone you can do all of the usual phone operations, short text messages, take pictures and short videos; easily handle the e-mail box, checking it anytime and anywhere, sending messages and attaching files; you can very easily  connect to the internet paying a small fee ( or even for free using any wireless connection available); use the incorporated  GPS, to know always where you are  and where and how to get somewhere; charge and transfer files from your pc; use the translation program and have the phone help you with the language you need at the moment; or transform the  iPhone in a navigator, for example or even a nautical GPS!!

THE APPLICATIONS -  but most importantly, with the iPhone you can download an infinite amount of  applications, for free  or paying, that will give you the whole world in your hands. Games, news, culture, soccer, audio books, music, films…With the S model, you also have an incorporated compass which can map anything you find on your way (for example a church or a monument, or the stars)  recognizing it and describing it for you!

THE iPad: is the extraordinary new tablet computer just released by Apple, which we believe will very soon become an indispensable tool of our ordinary life. The iPad is similar to the iPhone but bigger, with a 9,7’’ liquid crystal display and an internal rechargeable lithium battery. The device will enable us to have always available what we usually leave at home or at the office; we can purchase or read the news, adapting and enlarging pictures and articles as we wish, and deleting what we are not interested in. we can watch movies and videos, as well as all the pictures of our life to show to family and friends; we can buy anything online even while sitting in a train and travelling; we can buy and read books, as if we had the National Library available for us! With an iPad, we can be sure to have the whole world with us in any place we want to go. Moreover, we can also have access to our  home computer or office computer as if we were actually using them!

OUR “FILMCARDS” APPLICATION – It is this interactivity which strengthens our applications, guides, audio guides and video guides all together; our companions before and after the trip, but especially during our trip, where  they’ll describe to us everything we need to know in real time. And much much more!

An iPhone will never leave us, the owner of an iPhone will rarely give it up. More probably, an iPhone is in the future of those who does not have one. Like Henry Ford would say about his cars. This is what gave us the push to begin this adventure.
