FilmCards PostCards
The filmcards company detains two patents ( one in Italy and one in the United States) regarding a composed video- postcard. In the Italian case the container is similar to an illustrated postcard and it contains a DVD with a documentary of the locality you see in the front picture. In the American case, we have a video postcard without the DVD but with a paper-like material that can actually be reproduced with Blue –ray devices.
The range of use of such products is extremely varied: from the simple souvenir-gadget you can send to family as a normal postcard, to the distribution of important demonstrations by the organizers of a workshop or a conference, up to the advertisement in various fields (hotels, tour operators, navigation campaigns), and even to the sponsorship or political campaigns of an entire Country.

The musts of the “filmcards”:
The mix of two systems easy to use for everyone at hand
The postcard : a simple mean of communication, likeable and universally known
The DVD : the most complete and widespread system of information available today
The possibility to set about images and information through a product, in an efficient and systematic way
Very low costs of production, quite inferior to any other traditional form of advertisement.
The option to recall and spread, using the image of the postcard, a real advertising campaign through which you can easily recapture the driving theme
The possibility to create particular, dedicated synergies between the DVD and the internet connection.
